The Kyper face shield is designed to protect the face and eyes from splashing liquids and aerosols from respiratory secretions, providing no respiratory protection, nor protection against harmful biological agents.
It is especially suitable for social, labor and public service environments, where there may be a risk of projection of organic fluids from breathing.

Contraindications: There are no known contraindications in the use of the KYPER face shield, however materials that come into contact with the user’s skin can cause allergic reactions in susceptible individuals.

The KYPER face shield was considered safe, taking into account the intended use, in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425. The raw materials used in the manufacture of the KYPER face shield have no risks associated with the intended use in contact with the face, eyes or skin.
The KYPER face shield was manufactured in order to ensure the user’s satisfaction, comfort and protection, to comply with the requirements defined by the competent authorities, thus being a safe product for the intended use.

The essential health and safety requirements for the KYPER face shield were considered as provided for in Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and in EN 166: 2001 (6.1; 6.2; 6.3; 7.1.1; 7.2.4 ; 9 and 10).
The KYPER face shield was designed taking into account the following basic design requirements to protect your face and eyes from droplets: ergonomics, suitable materials, appropriate surface finish in areas in contact with the user and adjustability to increase comfort and efficiency. It has appropriate protection marking and it is supplied with instructions for use.

The KYPER face shield was manufactured taking into account the applicable Harmonized Standards and Regulations, that is: EN 166: 2001 standards (6.1; 6.2; 6.3; 7.1.1; 7.2.4; 9 and 10) and EN 168 : 2001 (12 and 18) and Regulation (EU) 2016/425.

– After each use, it is recommended to store the Visor in a clean and dry place, avoiding exposure to heat and direct sunlight.
– It must be inspected carefully before each use;
– Shocks and falls of heavy objects on top of the Visor should be avoided;
– It must be sanitized before the first use and before and after each
use, with warm water and soap or with a non-abrasive disinfectant solution.

WARNING! Do not use thinners, acetones or derivatives.
Shelf life: If the Visor is pricked, scratched or damaged, it must be replaced.

– Clean with warm water, soap and a soft cloth or with a non-abrasive disinfectant solution using paper or non-rough fabric;
– Disinfection can also be carried out by immersing the face shield in the same disinfectant solutions;

Warning! Do not use thinners, solvents or abrasives, acetones or derivatives.

The Kyper face shield has the following marking:
On the eye area, 3 DRT EN;
on the support structure components, DRT EN 166 3;

This face shield has a good colour recognition, with protection against splashing liquids, manufactured by DRT Rapid – Protótipos e Moldes, Lda.
